The Xbox 360 is one of the most popular games consoles of all time. It has a larger user base and more games than both the Wii and PlayStation 3. With its popularity remaining high and with the upcoming launch of the Kinect add-on, Microsoft has decided to launch a new slim line Xbox 360, but is worth it The money?
If you already own an Xbox 360 you'll be well aware of the noise it makes while you are playing a game, something reminiscent of a small aeroplane, such is the amount fan cooling it takes to keep its temperature down. Another thing you are probably aware of is the need to buy an extra plug-in device to enable Wi-Fi. These were the two main bug bears of the original Xbox 360 and I'm happy to say that both of these problems have been addressed in the new slim line model.
The New Xbox 360 is whisper quiet which means you can barely hear it while you are playing a game. It would seem the cooling system has been completely remodeled. The addition of built in Wi-Fi is also an excellent feature.
Apart from these two new features the Xbox 360 comes with a 250gig hard drive. It would seem that Microsoft will be pushing the Xbox as a multimedia center with downloadable TV programs and movies in full HD.
The outer case has been remodeled and comes in a sleek gloss black color. It does look exceptionally cool! All in all it's worth trading in your old Xbox for this new whisper quiet version, and if you do not already own one, then this is the one to buy.
